as most of you know, austin is in the national guard.
he'll be joining the ROTC program this next semester and plans on joining active after he graduates.
This is one thing that he and i are proud of most(the military)
it has lead to our comfortable(as comfortable for a college student that is) life.
But this website:
is one of the "sweetest" way i've heard of supporting our troops
Austin had a rough time in basic when it came to comfort foods
but he could always go to the PX and buy some goodies.
These guys don't have that luxury.
so.. the people at Baking gals started a little collection of women(or men) to bake some delicious treats and send them overseas.
I'm sure they are loving every bit of it..
So in the season of giving and especially giving thanks
i've decided to give my thanks to our troops by sending them treats.
