the one that says " i read Nie Nie"... you should read it. go there and read it, and you'll appreciate your life so much more. If you hadn't heard, Nie Nie (or stephanie nielsen) and her husband were in a plane crash in arizona 3 months ago today. her husband suffers from burns that cover 30 % of his body, and she has burns that cover 80% of her body. They have four kids together.
I was reading her blog yesterday and i came across her post about her being proud. Proud of what she was, and became. and it inspired me to post on here about what i'm proud of, what i'm grateful for.
Last night as i was reading her blog and austin was asleep in recliner and baby asleep in her swing, i cried. i cried because i was so sad about her being in a coma, sad that she had to be in a plane crash, i felt bad for her husband, and i felt so bad for her kids.
so this is what i'm grateful for:
1. My husband, bestfriend, love of my life!
he is the inspiration in my life, makes me get up in the morning. makes me feel beautiful when i haven't showered in three day and i don't have a hint of makeup on my face. He serves me, as i try to serve him. we're a great team.
2. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints/ TempleI do love this church sooooooo much. it has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Its made me happier with who i am, lead me to the love of my life. gave me insight to what to come. and i love that we emphasis family and it's importance in this life and in the life hereafter.
i love her so much. i could stare at her for days on end. I live for the moment she wakes up in the morning.i turn her over, watch her stretch and greet me with an opened mouth smile. she has made my life MORE complete. she has given me an abundance of patience, and i swear i never run out of patience with her.
4. byu-i
i'm glad austin got accepted to byui, forcing us to move to rexburg, now, although i don't love rexburg, i love byu-i. I love that i go to class and we say and opening and closing prayer, and i love that in a math class we can still relate x-2y+3 to the church. Only at BYU can you do that.
5. myself.
i've come to the conclusion that i might not be able to figure out what i want to with my life and swear that i'm not good at anything. but let me tell you that i love being a mother. I know that i'm good at that. i know that by me staying home, my home will be more complete and my children will be grateful for what they have.
