just the three of us...

here is it.. 11:35 halloween night, i'm sitting here in bed, while austin is getting done cutting his hair, and listening to Lorelei's hiccups hoping that she doesn't wake up. She's really spoiled me in the last couple of weeks, getting the sleep that is uncommon for new mothers or mothers of newborns, so i'm hoping that she doesn't wake up until at least 6:30-7:00. I have a feeling, tonight wont be that kind of night.

this picture right here, is a picture that grandpa abrams took. i must say that i do love this picture of my sweet girlhere is a picture of the three of us, i do like this picture alot i must say. i saw a really good one of austin and i, but poor ol' lorelei was bent over to one side.

today was an uneventful halloween. No trick or treaters, WOO HOO. so austin and i enjoyed hamburgers and ghost hunters, followed by "don't mess with the zohan", which wasn't all that funny and possibly a little vulgar. Gosh, to think, probably a year ago i wouldn't have minded that it was vulgar, but look at me now. caring about what i watch. i think i am growing up.

tomorrow will be an eventful day. Austin and i are going to a military ball, and i can't decide on wearing my prom dress from sophamore year, senior year, or wearing a dress i bought this summer, but only wore once. I don't know how i'm going to do my hair, but i'll figure it out.

Lorelei is going to be babysat by Sally and Jake, and i'm nervous for them, not because i don't think they'll be good at it, but i'm worried that lorelei is going to wail her little head off and they are going to be super stressed. I hope that she proves me wrong.

I'm already feeling a little guilty about being away from her, but i know it's something i've got to get used to.

and it's almost midnight, i'm feeling the sleepiness coming on.

i'll post pictures probably sunday morning of our festivities on saturday.
