Warning: photo dump. we've been busy bees

The last week of June we were invited by our good friends to go camping with them up in the Boise mountains. We couldn't say no, so we packed up and drove 6 hours into the mountains.
long drive, but we had tons of fun.. except for mosquito bites that stay with you for a couple of weeks and lorelei barfing on our way down from the mountain.

The 4th of July was disappointing. We really need to live in a town where they go all out for Independence day.Instead we got hot and jipped out on candy.. seriously people? only ONE PIECE OF CANDY PER THROW?

and lastly..
Spencer turned one yesterday! After falling down the stairs we had a pretty good day. Spaghetti and Meatballs for dinner and delicious chocolate cake with some pretty awesome icing ( and i do not like  frosting!!)
