we're still alive

12 days later......

sorry i've not been a very good blogger as of late. being at work is good and bad at the same time.

lets get a recap of what has happend in the last 12 days.

12.19.08-12.23.08: i just worked, and then the night of the 23rd we headed down to utah to spend christmas with my parents.
12.24.08: we had christmas with my Nephew John-Ross and his girlfriend Pamela(cute cute), we opened our presents and had a good time talking.
Here's what we got:
austin: Perfect push-up, a new watch, a gerber tool thing(it's a guy thing i dunno/care)
I got: a stand mixer and sewing machine.
we both got: sheets (2 sets of pure heaven that i sleep under/on top of), ironing board(2), pretty awesome hats (we'll have to take pictures), GPS (early christmas present), and a kitty
Lorelei got: musical toys, and a bumbo seat

12.25.08- we spent the day at the house, did some work around the house, austin even made a snowman, while i just watched, because i hate snow, i hate getting cold and i hate getting wet(when i don't want to be wet)

12.26.08- was the night of the jazz game (which i got tickets for my dad.... that we didn't use :) so austin and i went to the temple via UTA trax(which we both fell in love with) in Salt Lake, did a live session which was kinda cool, but mostly wierd, and then we went to the gateway to eat, met a bum, gave the bum $1.70, and talked about the Fakers ( i think he ment Lakers) and Celtics.
12.27.08- i spent the day at home, while austin played in WVC, afterwards we went to starbucks and commited a crime.... we only got hot chocolate haha and then we looked at cars, for no reason other than to just look.
12.28.08- went to church, where the members don't know how to sing on key or on beat and then headed home.
12.29.08- my parents came up from utah, i went to work, austin cleaned the house and we watched Eagle Eye (pretty amazing movie)
12.30.08- here we are... today. austin got a job at my work, i'm at work, mom and dad are at home. and we're going to watch The Kingdom and eat pulled pork sandwhiches made by me :)!

i know this was a pretty boring post, but our lives are pretty boring as of late.
school starts on the 7th, and i'm freaking out because i need a babysitter. i just wish i could be a stay at home mom and not worry about things like this, but we need they money, and i need to get my gpa up. so... what can you do
